Mostly because it makes it easier for me to understand at a glance what's happening/happened. I really like the crumpled on the the floor idea, but only once I've made the "show and tell" , inside outside connection, thankfully only took 15-20 seconds, but that's along time when your looking over a new piece by an artist you're not familiar with. Thats what I do at the end of the day, chuck it on the floor "whatever". You remind me a bit of Amy Sedaris now that I think of it. Thats a bad thing... No, kidding, it's good.
