Can’t tell from the photos, but it is one of the most exquisite things I’ve made.
I’m still playing about with positioning of the skin.
I’m kinda partial to the arms straight out at the sides.
And I’m wondering about lengthening the red threads considerably.
Opinions? Thoughts? Crude remarks?
Arms out brings to mind crucifixion. Though, only since you asked me to think about it.
I like it with arms up, connects it more to the hanging body for me.

The slumped over version that you added is also very interesting. Gives me a feeling of defeat or something. Can’t put my finger on it.

Mostly because it makes it easier for me to understand at a glance what’s happening/happened.
I really like the crumpled on the the floor idea, but only once I’ve made the “show and tell” , inside outside connection, thankfully only took 15-20 seconds, but that’s along time when your looking over a new piece by an artist you’re not familiar with.
Thats what I do at the end of the day, chuck it on the floor “whatever”. You remind me a bit of Amy Sedaris now that I think of it. Thats a bad thing… No, kidding, it’s good.
Very fun/challenging/unique Jody! I just discovered you and… I like.
