Zen Chalkboard (2001)

I would like to throw everything out and have nothing. Start with nothing. Keep nothing but myself, although maybe I should get rid of me first. Maybe by getting rid of my possessions, I wouldn’t be the crapped-up, full of words and dirty-chalk-dust-pictures-me anymore.

I was with my boss in a drugstore, looking for something (aren’t we all?), although I can’t remember what. We were in the cosmetics aisle looking at lipstick. My boss picked up a shade and I said, “That looks natural”. My boss said, “It looks too natural”.

In Your Dreams #4 (2000)

A Dream in Three Parts.
Part One.
I was working at the Shadbolt Centre (but the building was very art-school looking – white white, spacious, no furniture like at the Shadbolt…but the layout was definitely Shadbolt). It was over some sort of down time, a holiday or something as not many people were there. I needed keys to a certain room. On the key ring were lots of keys – LOTS OF KEYS.

In Your Dreams #2 (1990)

Last night’s dream was stranger. I’m sure it was in the future, yet I wasn’t any older. It was set in quite a large city – for some reason I thought it must be Toronto because I was going to visit a friend who works at Black’s Photo. For some odd reason she had quit her job, but was still going in to work.
